The Better Business Hub.
The chamber's work is organised through four committees: mission, activities and who chairs each one.
UK Renewables (UKRC)
A renewable energy industry representation body under the chamber, supporting the growth of renewables in Taiwan: a platform for networking and collaboration across the supply chain between Taiwan and the UK, and a voice raising members’ issues with the Taiwanese government.
Co-Chairs
Baker McKenzie sponsors the venue for UKRC meetings.
Women in Business (WiB)
Raises awareness of gender diversity in the Taiwan workplace through four themes, Share, Connect, Support and Celebrate, and has run its Forums since 2010.
Co-Chairs
Talent Development (TDC)
Originally the Young Professionals Committee, renamed to broaden its scope. Runs two flagship programmes, Talent Training Workshops and the Mentorship Programme, to expand professional development across the chamber’s membership.
Sponsorship for this committee is credited by tier rather than by name.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Plans and runs the chamber’s fundraising events for charity: the Charity Marathon, the Royal Charity Golf Tournament and the Christmas Charity Auction and Luncheon, whose proceeds fund the BCCTaipei 4-Year Scholarship Programme and partners including Puli Youth Services Centre and SOS Children’s Village.
